This is a safari package most suitable for those visitors who may not have a long holiday on them.
It is a 3 days package that takes you to see these primates in the Bwindi National Park in Uganda. Thus;-
Day 1: Nairobi to Kabale
Take an evening public bus from Nairobi to Kabale through Busia, Kenya-Uganda border post, and proceed onto Kabale, to arrive the following day, in the evening. Dinner and overnight in a budget hotel.
Day 2: Bwindi National Park
Guided from the hotel, proceed with your guides and spend the day exploring the tracks and pathways of these endangered primates;- cousins of man. Caution should be taken not to overstep the limits of the observation boundaries to avoid any conflict with the Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Kabale to Nairobi
Take the public bus from Kabale, Uganda, to Nairobi, where the tracking ends.
Cost of the Gorilla Tracking Safari
USD 1500 per person. This includes:
- Gorilla permit
- Transport by bus from Nairobi, and back.
- All transfers.
- All meals on arrival at the Bwindi hotel for the gorilla trek in Uganda.
